Okay I know its been a while since I wrote last and I said that as soon as I got Madi's ears pierced I would write about it, and then I didn't, but I am now and late is better than never right? Right! So when we went to get Madi's ears pierced she was sleeping so I thought that would be the best time to do it and I wanted both ears done at the same time, but every where we went there was only one person so we finally just had the girl at Claires pierce them. Well Kyle and his friends were there with us (me and my mom) and he wanted to hold her so I said okay and very reluctantly my mom said okay because she wanted to hold her. Well it took the girl a while to get the dots for were the earrings go to where I thought they looked good but when she did she shot the one ear and of course that woke miss Madi up and boy did she start screaming, it probably scared the crap out of her plus it hurt so I tried to calm her but I could not while Kyle was holding her so I let the girl do the other ear real quick and as soon as she was done we took a picture and then I grabbed Madi and she stopped crying right away, that is until we started saying, "Oh we know it hurt!" and stuff like that. Every time we did she would start whimpering, it was so stinkin cute.
Her six month appointment went well she is 26.5 inches long and 17 lbs. So she is in the 90th percentile for height and 85 for weight. She got shots again and did real well, but the next day there were bruises were she got shots, I felt so bad for here but she was not acting like they hurt, they just looked bad. The doctor did his exam and said that everything looks good with her. I had asked the doctor if she was a long as she is because I feed her too much, he said that there is nothing I could do legally to make her smaller so I do not feed her too much he said it is all genetics. This made me happy because I did not want her to be as big as she is because I was doing something wrong. She is a healthy baby.
Miss Madi has started sitting up on her own, I have to put her in the sitting position but once she is there she stays there, unless of course there is something she really wants and its just out of her reach then she falls over and usually ends up on her stomach. She also likes to feed herself which I think is fantastic, and I usually let her but there are times when I like to do it myself.
Things have been going good for Kris and myself, we are looking for a house right now and hopefully we will be in one by the end of August, and then we hope to start back to school. Well as soon as Madi starts to crawl I will write again, because I hope it is soon! If it is not I will write as soon as something really really cool happens! =)

Cute pictures, she is growing and changing so fast. Time just go by to fast.
How exciting. I love hearing about how she's growing!! They change way too quickly!!
That's so sad about her ear piercing. I'm gonna take Leyna on her 3 months. I hope she does good. She seems to have a high tollerance for pain. Bummer you didn't have two people at the same time. well, she is adorable and growing so quickly. Good luck finding a house.
