Road Trip and Pictures

Well we have been back from our trip for almost a week now, it will be a week on Saturday. The trip its self was so much fun, but the car rides were not. The first day we went to Goblin Valley then to Moab, and we made a pit stop at the dinosaur digging place before goblin valley, I don't know for sure what its called. Madi did okay in the car and that's due to the fact that she slept almost the whole time. So as a result we did not get to sleep that night, and poor Kayla had to stay with us in our room and she did not get any sleep either. Well the next day everyone, except me and Madi, went to the delicate arch, I wasn't upset because I have been there a few times already. When they came back we went to eat then Kris' family went to see more arches and Kris and I took Madi swimming then we went a saw a few petroglyphs and went to the store. The next day we started for Cortes and on the way we stopped at Newspaper Rock which has a lot of petroglyphs on it. When we got to Cortes (you know I don't know if I'm spelling that right, but you all know what I mean right?) we went to Mesa Verde and saw some of the ruins. The next day we headed for Carlsbad, which was the longest ride of them all and it sucked big time. Madi did not do good at all, but once we finally got there it was good. The next day we went into the cavern and Madi slept a good portion of the time which was fine because I was afraid that she would start screaming while we were done there but she did not even when she was awake. Later that night we saw the flight of the bats which was cool. The next day we started for the Grand Canyon, that ride was not as bad because we took our time and made lots of stops to get Madi out of the car. Then the next day we went to the Grand Canyon, it was my first time as well as Madi's going and I must say that it is the most spectacular natural wonder I have ever seen. That day we started for Utah and we made it to Hurricane around 2 am and finally got a room that was not the best but it did for the night. The next day we headed for home. So all in all it was a very fun and stressful trip, but I am glad that we went. So I have posted some pictures from the trip and some that are not from the trip but ones that I myself or Kris' family has taken. I must say that I love the pictures with Madi wearing her sunglasses and hat, I think she looks so freakin' cute. Well this was my take on the trip but I will see if I can get Kris to write a little because I know that I have forgotten some things and he should be able to fill you in on all that I missed. Also we are going to go and get Madi's ears pierced today so I will write about that and post some pictures probably tomorrow or the next day.
