Our New Arrival

As you can see by the pictures of our new little guy, I had Brayden a little early. He was scheduled to be born on the 18Th of May (a week before he was actually due), but he decided to come a little bit early. My water broke on the 4th at 11:30 pm, I had actually just gone to bed and when I turned to try to get a little bit comfortable it broke. So I had him on the 5Th of May at 8:01 am, he weighed 6 lbs 7 oz, and he was 20 inches long. I was actually a little upset because I did not want to be in the hospital on Hunter's birthday, but things did not work out the way I wanted them to and that's OK, thankfully Hunter is too young to know that we did not celebrate his birthday on his birthday. While we were in the hospital Brayden was having low blood sugar (which was on of the problems Hunter had as well) so I requested an echo to be done on Brayden to make sure his heart was good, and we found out that his heart is perfect. So I decided to stay until mother's day and take advantage of the nursery so I could get some sleep at night. Then on mother's day we got to come home. That is when we celebrated Hunter's birthday as well. He did pretty good opening his presents but he was super tired by the time we had cake and he did not want any so we did not get to have cute pictures of him going crazy over the cake, but that's okay. Brayden is now 2 weeks old and he is doing really good, we went in for his two week check up and he is now at 7 lbs 3 oz, he's my big little guy =). Just in case this is confusing for any one I want to let you know that I'm writing this while listening to music so my mind is trying to do two things at once and it might not be doing it so well, so if it is confusing I apologize =). Well that's all I can think of to write for now but I will write again as soon as I can.
