She's Here!

Madilyn Rose was born Sunday January 13 at 5:09 pm. She weighed in at a whopping 5 lbs. 9 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. It was quite a shock since she wasn't due until January 30. Tricia's water broke Sunday morning around 8:00 am and we got to the Hospital around 8:30 am. They started to induce labor not long after that, but Tricia did not experience any real contractions and was not dialating hadly at all. After about 8 hours her Midwife, Machel, arrived and started to check the baby. She discovered that during the labor the baby had flipped back into a breach position (feet down) so ordered the emergency c-section. It's hard to believe and it seems like just a dream, but our little angel is finally here. We got home Wednesday around 12:30 pm and we're all doing really well. Madilyn has been eating really well and is just a sweetheart. Tricia is healing very quickly, but she's still taking things really slow and easy. Thank you to our family and friends for all the love and support we've received this last week. I'll get some pics on here very soon.
